Ensure this matches the account currently under review.
Question 2: Please provide the website associated with this Ad account.
How to Answer:

This should match your landing pages and ads.

Expert Tip: If you're transitioning websites or domains but haven’t updated Ads settings due to suspension or access limits, this may be your chance to clarify.
Question 4: Which of the following best reflects your use of Ads?
How to Choose the Right Option:
This is a critical question and directly affects what supporting documents you're required to submit later in the process. Here's how to pick the correct option:
Option | When to Choose It |
Option 1 – “I run ads for the organization I work for (my direct employers)” | Choose this if you're part of the internal marketing or advertising team of a registered business that owns the Ads account. |
Option 2 – “I run ads for another organization, on behalf of the agency I work for.” | Select this if you’re a marketing agency managing ads for other companies. |
Option 3 – “I run ads for an individual, a sole proprietorship, or an unregistered business on behalf of the agency I work for.” | Use this when your agency handles ads for small or informal businesses without legal registration. |
Option 4 – “I run ads for my own unregistered business” | Choose this if you’re the business owner of a sole proprietorship or unregistered entity, and you're running the ads yourself. |
Question 5: Do you work with an agency that manages your Ad account?
How to Answer:
Select “Yes” if an agency or digital partner officially manages your Ad account. Google may ask you to submit more details or documents about them.
Select “No” if you handle it in-house, or only work with freelancers/consultants with account access but not under contract.
Expert Tip: If you’ve shared credentials with a freelancer or consultant but there’s no formal management agreement in place, it’s safer to choose “No”.
Part 2: About You

Enter the full name of the person filling out the BOV form.
This should be the authorized individual—either from the agency, the advertiser, or the marketing team.

If you're an agency team member with access to the account, enter your agency name.

Enter Advertiser email ID, if Advertiser itself is filling in or has logged in with Advertiser's email ID
Here’s how to decide whose details to provide:

Consultant or agency using the advertiser's login | Enter the advertiser’s name and company, not yours. |
Business owner (advertiser) | Fill in your name, business name, and email. |
Internal marketing team | Use your name, but your employer's company name. |
Part 3: About the Advertiser's Business Model and Partnerships
Question 12: Please describe the company’s type of business
How to Answer:
Describe your business's core function and primary offering. Focus on what services or products you provide and how you operate
This question is important specifically for Agencies, Authorized Resellers, Franchisees, Channel Partners, etc.
You need to make sure to provide the necessary authorization documents when asked
Question 13: Please describe the company’s business model
How to Answer:
Explain how your business delivers services and how customers pay for them
Provide information like target audience, target location, what your business does, and what problem it solves
Include whether it’s appointment-based, subscription, or per-visit
Expert Tip: Avoid giving the impression you're an affiliate or platform that passes leads. Emphasize you are the service provider — that’s critical for BOV approval
Question 14: Who are your customers/target audience?
How to Answer:
Mention the types of customers (e.g., parents of high school students, elderly patients etc.) and what their needs are.
Question 15: Please describe how your company interacts with your target audience
How to Answer:
Mention key interaction points: Website visits, Phone Calls, WhatsApp chats, In-clinic consultations, home visits etc.
Focus on the customer journey from search to service. Highlight:
Interaction during Lead Generation
Interactions that are required to Convert Leads
Interactions to Nurture Lead
Interactions to Serve Customers
Expert Tip: This is a key trust question. Show you have real-world operations and not just online forms or lead capture pages.
Question 16: Considering your answers above, select the business type that best reflects the company
This question is pivotal to the Verification process. It's about establishing ownership and accountability, which impacts whether Google deems your ads credible and policy-compliant.
How to Answer:
Help Google determine whether your business:
Owns the product or service being advertised, or
Is a reseller, intermediary, or marketing partner for others.
Here's how to decide:
Scenario | What to Select |
You own and deliver the advertised product/service directly (e.g., a clinic, coaching centre, software, brand, etc.) | First Party |
You are an aggregator or multi-brand platform (e.g., online marketplace, comparison site) | Online Sales Portal |
You are a franchisee, channel partner, authorized/unauthorized reseller of a third-party product/service | Brand Reseller |
You provide marketing or lead-gen services for other businesses | Third Party |
Expert Tip: Choose “First Party” only if you have direct ownership and control of the offering being advertised. If you're a digital marketing agency or consultant, you should not select First Party unless the business entity in question is your direct client and you’re filling this form on their behalf.
Misrepresenting your business type (e.g., selecting First Party when you're only generating leads for others) is a common reason for BOV rejection.
Question 17: Are any other relationships required to provide the goods and services advertised using Google?
How to Answer:
Select “No”, if you and your internal team are solely responsible for delivering the service. (e.g., your clinic staff handles all patient care.)
Select “Yes”, if you rely on an outside party for service delivery (e.g., a logistics partner who fulfills product orders, or a third-party contractor who handles core services).
Expert Tip: Don't confuse this with your marketing/external ad agency. This question strictly targets service fulfillment and delivery. Google wants transparency around who serves the customer after the ad click.
Example of “YES”: An e-commerce dropshipper who never directly handles the inventory.
Question 18: Does the company provide paid marketing, advertising, or lead generation services?
How to Answer:
Select “No” if you are not a marketing agency, ad platform, or affiliate.
Select “Yes” if:
You offer paid ads, media buying, or ad services to other businesses.
You run a lead generation service or affiliate marketing.
If you select Yes, be prepared to provide:
Your agency name
The website for your agency
A brief explanation of your relationship with the advertiser’s account (if submitting this on behalf of a client)
Expert Tip: If you’re verifying a client's ad account as their agency partner, clarify that you only manage their advertising but do not fulfill the end service. Transparency prevents miscategorization as a "lead gen business."
